Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

Join Prisma Health Richland Hospital as a Registered Nurse on our Med Surg/Telemetry unit. You'll work 3x12 hour night shifts with self-scheduling flexibility, caring for adult patients on a 26-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio.

Role Details:

• Primary assignment to Med Surg Orthopedic unit with floating to Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed based on census
• 72 hours of orientation provided at the start
• One pre-approved time off during your 91-day assignment
• Weekend coverage required

Required Experience and Credentials:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with strong orthopedic and Med Surg background
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in a large healthcare facility
• At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EKG certification exam to be completed during onboarding
• Charge experience preferred

Onboarding Requirements:

• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Modules are billable up to 16 hours and completed before your start date
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Social Security Number required with application submission

Support Services:

You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary staff.
