MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 10-week travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. You will work weekend day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday holidays, with on-call and callback responsibilities as needed by the unit.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI machines efficiently and safely, including GE scanner systems
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Insert IVs when necessary for contrast injection procedures
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging support
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Perform patient care tasks as assigned
• Stand for extended periods during your shift

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of MRI Technologist experience
• Proven GE scanner experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• ARRT certification
• Injection certification
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• NYS Radiologic Technologist license (you may obtain after starting)
• Knowledge of medical terminology
