Interventional Radiology

Opportunity:

RN - IR

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 12-hour shifts
• Circulate procedures in IR/IN and provide care for patients in prep/recovery phases
• 18 months experience required; 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Float to all 3 hospitals within scope to meet facility needs (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• On-call required - must respond to hospital within 30 minutes when on call
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Time-sensitive modules must be completed pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• Skills include interventional radiology, angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, radiation and laser safety
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
• Compliance documents due Monday prior to start
• 2 references from direct supervisor/manager required
