Job Details:

• Provide quality occupational therapy services to predominantly Native American population
• Assess and interpret evaluation/test results for patients ranging from birth through geriatric
• Determine occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians
• Document patient care services in electronic health records (EHR)
• Evaluate patient progress and recommend treatment plan adjustments
• Maintain operation and organization of occupational therapy program for outpatients and inpatients
• Provide specialty services including custom orthoses, sensory integration, cognitive treatment, and activities of daily living
• Assist with specialty clinics including Spinal Cord clinic, Functional clinic, Geriatric clinic, and Assistive Technology/adaptive equipment evaluation
• Regular work week schedule with weekend services not currently available
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE accredited school required
• Valid, current, full and unrestricted license from American Occupational Therapy Association and Arizona Department of Health Licensure required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association required
• Minimum 2 years experience as licensed Occupational Therapist required
• Strong orthopedic skills essential as majority of patients are orthopedic cases
• Must meet Medical Staff credentialing requirements
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
