Ultrasound Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work the night shift in a dynamic radiology and cardiology environment, performing a full range of diagnostic ultrasound studies.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period

Role Responsibilities

• Float between Main campus and ART campus as needed
• Perform abdominal, doppler, renal, vascular, and pelvic imaging studies
• Specialize in abdominal doppler imaging and transplant ultrasounds
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle daily caseload variation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• BLS certification
• ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification
• Proficiency in abdominal doppler imaging

What to Expect On-Site

• SC state ultrasound licensure is not required
• Radiation badge is not required
• Epic charting system (prior experience preferred)
• Dress code: teal tops and black bottoms
• Parking pass available for nights and weekends with one-time $20 payment

Compensation & Duration

• Weekly pay: $1,856
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026
