Respiratory Therapist Job in Midland, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a temporary assignment at MyMichigan Health - Midland. You will work 3x12 night shifts on an every-other-weekend schedule with no on-call responsibilities. This is a 91-day assignment starting July 6, 2026, with weekly pay of $1,995.84.

About the Role

You will administer medications and perform therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardio-pulmonary system, either independently or in consultation with a physician. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform respiratory care to evaluate and treat protocol evaluations
• Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers
• Respond to all Rapid Responses, arrests, or STAT situations immediately
• Maintain artificial airways, respiration, and cardiac compressions
• Set up and maintain all oxygen according to protocol
• Provide CPR and life support systems in emergency situations

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
• Active RRT Certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active Michigan license with LARA verification showing Active status
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), NBRC, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within one year pertinent to Respiratory Therapy
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous travel work experience preferred
