Mammography Technologist Job at Hi-Desert Medical Center

You will perform diagnostic mammographic examinations at Hi-Desert Medical Center as a Mammography Technologist on a 5x8 day shift. This 91-day travel assignment runs from April 27, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,971.58.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform diagnostic mammographic examinations according to clinical protocols
• Verify patient identity and review medical records to confirm appropriateness of each exam
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding throughout the appointment
• Set up mammography equipment and acquire images following prescribed protocols
• Review acquired images and make initial observations for quality assurance
• Document any exceptions from established protocols in patient records
• Communicate findings and imaging data to the radiologist
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning to support optimal image quality
• Follow safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines at all times

You will need an Allied Health Professional degree to qualify for this position. The 08:00–16:30 shift provides a consistent daytime schedule. Your role is essential to the diagnostic imaging team, requiring attention to detail, patient care skills, and technical proficiency with mammography equipment.
