CVOR Technologist Surgical Tech Job in Prescott, AZ

You'll work as a Surgical Tech in the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - West in Prescott, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities up to 50% of the time from end of shift to next morning with a 30-minute response time required
• On-call up to 50% of weekends
• Weekly pay: $1,830

Role Details

• Scrub role in a CVOR unit with 6 operating rooms (1 dedicated CVOR) and 1 Hybrid room
• Handle 20–30 cases per day, including 1–2 cardiothoracic cases or up to 4 TAVR procedures
• Common procedures include CABG, Aortic Valve repair/replacement, Mitral Valve repair/replacement, and TAVR
• Minimum 1 year of open heart surgery experience required

Support and Resources

• Charge nurse and specialty leads available during shifts
• House supervisor on-site from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• EMR system: Cerner
• Hospital provides scrubs

Credentials and Certifications

• Allied Health Professional credential required
• BLS certification required

This is an acute care assignment in a busy CVOR environment. You'll work alongside experienced cardiac surgical teams in a facility-supported setting.
