Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Parkersburg, WV

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. This is a 91-day travel position starting September 28, 2026, with 3x12 rotating shifts and weekly pay of $2,341.

Your Role

You will function in a fast-paced operating room environment handling 30–45 patients per day. The facility operates 11 major surgical rooms and 2 minor rooms for smaller procedures. You will work alongside 2 surgical techs per room, sometimes with an additional RN, ensuring manageable workload and support.

Responsibilities

• Circulate cesarean sections
• Assist with orthopedic, ENT, general surgery, and OBGYN cases
• Manage instrument and supply preparation in a vascular and endoscopy setting
• Rotate through weekday call and weekend call schedules
• Document procedures in the EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Valid Certified Surgical Technologist credential
• Vascular and endoscopy experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Valid driver's license
• Any background findings must be disclosed at time of submission

Setting

You will work in an acute care hospital OR environment with established protocols and a structured team dynamic. The facility uses EPIC for electronic health records.
