Wound Care RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Join Christian Hospital in Saint Louis, MO as a Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care. This 91-day travel assignment offers 5x8 day shifts (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) with 40 guaranteed hours per week, starting June 29, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform VAC changes and specialized dressing changes for patients requiring wound care treatment
• Manage pressure ulcer care (stages I–IV) and wound debridement techniques
• Conduct wound vac therapy and peritoneal dialysis procedures as needed
• Use rover equipment for wound photography and documentation
• Provide direct care to adult patients with a 6:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• Complete approximately 26 patient visits per day
• Float within the service line to support facility staffing needs
• Chart all patient information using the EPIC system

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of wound care experience
• BLS certification
• NIH certification
• Wound Ostomy Care Certification (WOCN)
• Weekend requirement: 1 shift every 6 weeks
• Navy blue scrubs required; no artificial nails

Additional Details:

This position accepts first-time travelers. You will receive 10 hours of orientation to familiarize yourself with facility systems and protocols. The unit values RNs with experience in comprehensive wound care skills and offers a supportive environment for clinical growth.

Compensation: $2,346.62 weekly
