ICU RN Job in Fallon, Nevada

You'll provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Churchill Community Hospital. Work three 12-hour night shifts per week for an 89-week assignment starting July 6, 2026. Your role centers on comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment.

• Conduct detailed patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental and cultural needs
• Review patient histories, diagnostics and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans with discharge planning integrated throughout
• Provide direct patient care while coordinating with and delegating to healthcare team members
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and evaluate patient progress toward goals
• Provide patient and family education and assess response to teaching
• Participate in unit shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and precept new staff, students and facility personnel as appropriate

You'll stand, walk, bend, squat, reach and stretch frequently. You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics. Adequate hearing, visual acuity and fine motor skills are essential for patient care duties.

Requirements: Valid Nevada RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Bachelor's degree preferred along with professional certification.

Weekly pay is $2,446.20. This is a contract position with Banner Churchill Community Hospital located at 801 E Williams Avenue in Fallon, Nevada.
