PCU Registered Nurse Job in Lewisburg, PA

WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU), also known as Intermediate Care (IMC). This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12 night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call requirements
• Holidays worked as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,131.66

Role Details

You will care for adults with a range of diagnoses including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical conditions. Patient ratio is 5:1. You will assist with total joint arthroplasties and spinal fusions, and manage post-operative recovery.

Floating & Skills Required

Floating between IMC, Ortho, and Rehab units is required as needed. You must demonstrate competency in telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, wound care and wound vac operation, BiPAP/CPAP management, IV insulin protocols, and dysrhythmia management. You will operate special equipment including Buck's traction and telemetry monitors.

Credentials & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• NIHSS certification
• MENDS certification
• Epic charting experience required
