CT Technologist Job in Grand Blanc, MI

You will perform computed tomographic radiological procedures as a Radiologic Technologist at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan. This is a 13-week travel assignment working three twelve-hour shifts per week, scheduled 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend included.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform CT scans, analyzing anatomical structures and setting up equipment appropriately
• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging
• Review clinical data and select appropriate examination protocols
• Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors
• Monitor patients for possible adverse reactions and provide immediate care as needed
• Assist the radiologist in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies
• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations
• Complete all PACS and RIS documentation and study indexing
• Demonstrate principles of radiation protection and ALARA techniques
• Occasionally lift and move equipment and/or patients exceeding 10 lbs

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technology experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current CT certification (ARRT registered with advanced registry in Computed Tomography)
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Maintain required hours of continued medical education
• Procedure experience is a plus

• Duration: 91 days (13 weeks)
• Weekly pay: $2,657.34
