Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with no more than 5 consecutive days
• Weekend coverage required with holiday rotation
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Work in General Care and Adult Intensive Care units
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT, Indiana license
• Education must be in-person, accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
• Must have Indiana license in hand to submit
• Floating is 100% required - candidates will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Two supervisor references required
• Skills include airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Preferred experience in trauma, teaching hospital, or emergency department settings
• Preferred equipment experience with Hamilton G5 and Philips V60 ventilators
• Documentation in Cerner system preferred
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
