Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all patient care areas including Emergency Department and general care areas
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Work with equipment including V60 BIPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators, iSTAT
• Documentation in Epic electronic health record system
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, and patient assessment with assess and treat protocols
• Care for patients of all age groups
• 3+ years experience required with NICU and pediatric experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Advanced NRP, NBRC RRT (or NBRC CRT with RRT obtained within one year)
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scents allowed
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
