PICU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a travel nursing position with a duration of 89 days, starting May 25, 2026.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Weekly pay: $2,930.40
• Facility: OU Health

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients requiring intensive medical intervention
• Monitor patients continuously using advanced pediatric monitoring equipment and technology
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when needed
• Support families during stressful and critical care situations, serving as a compassionate resource during their child's critical illness

You will be caring for some of the most vulnerable patients—pediatric patients in critical condition—requiring your clinical skill, attention to detail, and emotional resilience. The PICU environment demands quick decision-making, strong assessment skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team of physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other specialists.
