CVOR Technologist Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a CVOR Technologist to join the Surgical Services team. This is a 154-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026, offering competitive weekly compensation of $2,246.40.

Schedule & Expectations

• Primary shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM)
• One 8-hour shift every other week (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM)
• Call required 1 day per week and 1 weekend approximately every 4 weeks, subject to departmental needs
• Weekend coverage included in call requirements
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice, including to Main OR as needed

Requirements & Experience

• Minimum 2 years surgical technology experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Cardiovascular/thoracic, transplant, and thoracic robotics experience preferred

Core Competencies

• CABG, CVOR, cardiothoracic robotic surgery, TAVR, VAD, EVAR, TEVAR, VATS, and carotid endarterectomy procedures
• Aseptic technique, instrument processing, sterilization, disinfection, and airway management
• 1:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients

Time Off & Holiday Policy

• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• All requests to time off (RTO) and schedule requests must be finalized at time of submission; changes cannot be requested post-offer or on-site
• If 1 or 2 major holidays fall during assignment, you are expected to work all of them; if 3 or more fall during assignment, you are expected to work 2 of them
