<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Neurodiagnostic Tech - Neurodiagnostic Tech; Additional Notes from VMS= Neurodiagnostic EEG/IOM Technologist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week for a 12-week assignment<br>• Two years experience required performing neurodiagnostic procedures with EEG and IOM experience<br>• Hospital experience preferred with ability to work independently<br>• Associate's degree or graduate from CAAHEP accredited neurodiagnostic program required<br>• Must hold R.EEG registration, CNIM certification, and AHA BLS certification<br>• Epic charting experience preferred<br>• On-call requirements: Monday-Friday 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, weekend call Saturday 7:30 AM to Monday 7:30 AM with 30-minute response time<br>• Float requirements to other facilities as needed including Appleton and outpatient clinics<br>• Holiday rotation required with weekend coverage as needed<br>• Any missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks of absence<br>• Perform EEG, cEEG, EP, NCV, and IOM procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings<br>• Assist physicians in diagnosing brain and nervous system disorders<br>• Maintain and troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment<br>• Provide patient education and support during procedures<br>• Document patient observations and reactions accurately<br>• Assist in training other technologists and students<br>• Hospital scrubs provided from OR department</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive neurodiagnostic department that provides specialized testing services for neurological conditions.
