About this role
MUSC Health Bamberg-Barnwell Emergency & Imaging is seeking an Echo Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 16, 2026. You will work a 3x12 day schedule (approximately 36 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with no on-call or weekend requirements.
Your Role:
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and vascular studies with a daily caseload of 10–12 patients
- Conduct vascular studies including lower extremity veins (LEVs), lower extremity arteries (LEAs), ankle-brachial indices (ABIs), carotid studies, upper extremity arteries (UEAs), upper extremity veins (UEVs), and groin duplex with pseudoaneurysm evaluation
- No radiation badge required; no floating between service lines or sister facilities
Requirements:
- Allied Health Professional degree as Echo Technologist
- Minimum 2 years of experience with TTE and vascular studies
- Current BLS certification
- Dual certification: RDCS/RCS and RVT (CCI certification accepted as alternative)
- First-time travelers welcome
Work Environment:
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Epic charting system (preferred experience)
- Free parking provided
- Facility-approved call-offs: 1 shift per 2 weeks
- May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
Compensation & Assignment Details:
- Weekly pay: $2,592
- Assignment duration: 91 days
- Locals within 60-mile radius accepted on case-by-case basis
