Interventional Radiology Technologist in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our fast-paced IR unit. This 13-week travel assignment runs 5 days per week on day shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 40 guaranteed hours weekly at $3,408 per week.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, and cone beam CT exams with three-dimensional reconstruction
• Support complex interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional procedures
• Average 4–6 cases per day working in a team of 1 RN and 2 Rad Techs
• Participate in 1–2 weeknight call rotations as needed with a 30-minute response time
• Participate in every 4th weekend call rotation and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Float to other central region locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in interventional cath procedures, interventional vascular procedures, or interventional neurology
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Wisconsin state radiologic technologist license
• Epic charting experience highly preferred

Work Environment

• You must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Wear any colored scrubs
