Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for its Cardiac Cath Lab in Rochester, New York. This 89-day travel assignment begins July 6, 2026, and offers $2,960.10 weekly pay.

Schedule and Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Preference for 36 hours per week (4x10-hour or 3x12-hour shift options available)
• Weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback shifts required per unit needs
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned per unit needs

Role Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedural care in holding areas
• Care for both adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients
• Work across 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs
• Focus on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and cardiac intervention
• Collaborate with CVT staff in an RN-rich practice model

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Critical care or cardiac experience required
• Moderate sedation training required
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience required
• Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
• Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever experience required
• Mechanical Circulatory Support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Structural Heart experience required: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• New York RN license required
• Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred
• Device and ablation procedures and equipment familiarity preferred
• EP Lab experience preferred
