Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work day shifts, 5x8 schedule from 8:00-4:30 PM or 8:30-5:00 PM (may depend on patient load)
• Weekly guaranteed 36 hours with 13-week assignment length
• No weekend hours or call requirements
• Treat approximately 65-70 patients per day in department
• Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, ARRT, and RRA
• Minimum 2 years radiation therapy experience in hospital setting required
• Must have good communication skills and linac treatment experience
• Experience setting up patients and imaging patients required
• Work with sophisticated equipment including Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and new Radixact system
• Use Mosiaq and EPIC electronic medical record systems
• Elekta workflows can be taught on-the-job
• Experience with Elekta preferred
• Dress code requires black scrubs only
• Must obtain flu vaccination or approved exemption from November 1-April 1
• Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments as member of radiation therapy treatment team
