SLP Job in Childress, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a long-term care facility in Childress, TX. This is a 91-day assignment beginning May 18, 2026, working day shifts.

Position Overview

You will provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to residents in a long-term care setting. Your work will directly improve residents' quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions and personalized treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
• Create communication treatment plans using evidence-based techniques to enhance residents' ability to be understood and to understand others
• Reduce aspiration risk through specialized therapeutic interventions
• Lead and direct the delivery of speech-language pathology services in accordance with facility standards
• Ensure all services comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
• Follow established facility policies and procedures
• Deliver appropriate, compassionate care to all residents

Requirements

• Current Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Minimum 2 years of SLP clinical experience
• Therapy degree

Shift Details

You will work five 8-hour day shifts per week with no on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements, providing schedule predictability and work-life balance.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,505.60.
