Job Details:

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• See an average of 4-6 patients per day
• Patient population primarily consists of patients needing short-term therapy after hospitalization or nursing home stays
• Coverage area extends 50 miles from Fort Dodge, averaging 200-250 miles of driving per week
• Must have own vehicle; mileage will be reimbursed
• Weekly team meetings held virtually with monthly in-person meetings
• Orientation begins every Monday and includes general organization orientation, required online courses, 2 days of Epic EMR training, and ride-along/shadow visits
• Typically fully productive by week 3 of orientation
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
• 2 years of previous OT experience required; home health experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Iowa state license required
• Required certifications: BLS
• Must provide driver's license, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date, license verification, copy of required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference at time of submission
