Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• 13-week contract
• Float to all patient care areas of the hospital including emergency department and general care areas, with possible float to other locations with advance notice
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols
• Care for all age groups including pediatric and NICU patients
• Chart and document using Epic, and operate V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, and iStat equipment
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Advanced NRP, and NBRC RRT (NBRC CRT accepted but RRT must be obtained within one year)
• Active Wisconsin license required
• AHA or ARC certifications required
• Associate's degree or certificate required
• Minimum 3+ years of experience required
• Pediatric and NICU experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Dress code: scrubs any color, closed-toe shoes, clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed, piercings per dress code policy
