Special Procedures Technologist Job in Florence, SC

McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC is seeking an Allied Health Professional to work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment.

Position Overview

You will support minimally invasive procedures in our Interventional Radiology department, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Schedule and Compensation

You will work 4 days per week on a 10-hour day shift with alternating weekends. Call rotation is required. Weekly pay is $3,504.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations and position patients correctly
• Operate radiographic equipment and maintain proficiency with all departmental systems
• Maintain strict sterile technique throughout all procedures
• Provide high-quality diagnostic images to radiologists for interpretation
• Manage patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled
• Maintain professional demeanor and strong customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues
• Stay current with continuing education and in-service training
• Comply with all system policies and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current ARRT certification
• Current SCQRSA certification
• Proficiency in sterile technique
