Respiratory Therapist - Certified Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12's)
• 13-week assignment duration
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Must be registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum experience required in ICU, general floors, and emergency department
• NICU and pediatric experience needed (minimal coverage for emergency department)
• Follow protocols approved by medical staff and department policies
• Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and perform ventilator management
• Assist with intubations and blood gas procedures
• Provide cardiopulmonary services across multiple hospital departments
