MRI Technologist Job in Kearney, NE

You'll work as an MRI Technologist at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska, performing diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care setting. This is a 91-day travel position starting April 27, 2026.

Schedule and Duration

• 11.5-hour night shifts
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Thursday through Wednesday evenings
• Thursday–Saturday: 6:30 PM–6:00 AM
• Sunday–Wednesday: 7:30 PM–6:00 AM
• No call expectations

Your Role

You'll perform MRI, CT, and X-ray procedures, including operating room coverage. The facility is a Level II trauma center, so CT and X-ray support are essential. MRI services are provided on a limited basis for head and spine imaging to support the neurosurgery team.

Requirements

• CT and X-ray certifications required
• MRI certification optional; if pursuing, you must have at least 2 years of MRI experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Valid driver's license

Work Environment

You'll operate within an acute care setting using EPIC charting. Professional appearance standards apply, including a prohibition on artificial nails.

Eligibility

You must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. You cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity affiliated facilities during this assignment.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,365.20.
