<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• On-call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM<br>• First time travelers accepted<br>• Minimum 2 years experience required<br>• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT<br>• Indiana license required<br>• Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases<br>• Work with Siemens c-arms and PACS systems<br>• Perform procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic procedures, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies<br>• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one tech circulates and the other scrubs<br>• Work with Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke cases<br>• Handle vascular interventional and neuro interventional procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions<br>• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays<br>• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby<br>• Call-in policy requires makeup shifts or added days at end of contract</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major healthcare facility operates 4 interventional radiology rooms featuring 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms, providing comprehensive interventional radiology services. The facility maintains Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke designations, handling complex vascular interventional and neuro interventional procedures.
