X-Ray Technician Job in Springfield, MA

Mercy Medical Center is seeking an X-Ray Technician to join its radiology department on a 90-day travel assignment. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, positioning patients and operating imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for clinical interpretation.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, evenings from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Every third weekend required
• 90-day assignment beginning July 6, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,373.80

You will work in a busy radiology department performing general radiography, fluoroscopy, and other diagnostic imaging procedures. Your responsibilities include patient care and safety, proper equipment operation, radiation safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records of all imaging studies. You will collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive timely, quality diagnostic imaging services.

This role is ideal for an Allied Health Professional with current X-Ray Technician credentials and hands-on experience in a hospital or medical imaging center. You should be comfortable with the evening shift schedule and flexible weekend assignments. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
