RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:17 PM
• 10-week contract assignment
• Required scrub color: Ceil blue or white for RN staff
• Nurse-to-patient ratios vary by unit: 1:7 or 1:8 on Med Surg, 1:4 on Cardiac Stepdown (5T), and 1:6 to 1:7 on Post Op (6T)
• Units include 5B Neuro Tele, 5T Cardiac Stepdown, and 6T Post Op
• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
• Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is maintained
• Support competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
