Respiratory Therapist Job in Bristol, TN

You'll work as a Respiratory Therapist in the Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics department at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting June 14, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,203.20

Your Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy administration and various respiratory procedures
• Manage aerosol setups, BiPAP/CPAP, and chest physiotherapy
• Conduct arterial punctures and ABG interpretation
• Support ventilator weaning and patient care across all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• CRT credential required; RRTs preferred
• Experience with Emergency Department and adult critical care preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred

Onboarding

• 16 hours of non-billable orientation required, beginning on Mondays
• General orientation includes online CBLs and facility modules (4–5 hours average)

Important Requirements

• Your permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the hospital service area
• Flu vaccine is required; medical and religious exemptions are accepted
• Drug test must be completed within 12–14 days prior to your start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to comply with CDC fit testing guidelines
• The hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty based on census needs
