Position Details

  • Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

  • Weekly Pay: $2,196.47
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document within the full RN scope of practice
  • Develop problem lists and prioritize patient needs based on input from the interdisciplinary team
  • Design and implement culturally sensitive, age-appropriate patient care interventions
  • Explain procedures, treatments, and care processes to patients and families in clear, understandable language
  • Recognize, respond to, and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
  • Delegate nursing tasks appropriately and oversee team members during patient care activities
  • Monitor the accuracy and completeness of all delegated patient care
  • Assess and address patient educational needs, adjusting teaching to individual comprehension levels
  • Facilitate the discharge process by executing and coordinating discharge orders in a timely manner
  • Provide input on patient and nurse assignments while considering staffing levels and patient acuity
  • Participate actively in unit-based activities that support organizational values and patient safety
  • Contribute to department quality improvement initiatives and core measure compliance
  • Coordinate all aspects of patient admission, transfer, and discharge activities
  • Deliver patient and family-centered education and care coordination
