Respiratory Therapist Job in Fort Pierce, FL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in the NICU at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, FL. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) at $1,708.20 per week.

About the Role

You'll provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema in a 437-bed acute care hospital setting. You can expect approximately 44–46 procedures per shift in this fast-paced environment.

Equipment & Systems

You'll work with specialized respiratory equipment including:

• Servo I ventilators
• Hamilton and Astral ventilators
• V60, CPAP, and BIPAP machines
• Nebulizers
• Arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis
• Chest physiotherapy (CPT)

Documentation is handled through the Meditech EMR system.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital respiratory therapist experience
• Trauma experience preferred
• Previous Meditech experience strongly preferred
