Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

You will work as an RN Circulator in a Level 1 trauma center's high-volume, high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab. This role offers a 4x10 day shift schedule with rotating shifts between 0700–1730 and 1000–2030, providing 40 guaranteed hours per week. Every other weekend and rotating on-call duties, including evenings, nights, and holidays, are required.

Your Responsibilities

• Circulate diagnostic and interventional PCI procedures as an RN in a 1:1 patient ratio
• Provide conscious sedation under attending physician direction
• Hand off sterile supplies, assess vital signs, and document in Epic
• Float within the service line as needed
• Cross-train to run hemodynamics in a monitor tech capacity
• Operate specialized equipment including Impella, IABP, and Epic documentation system
• Manage adult patients presenting with AMI, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, aortic stenosis, V-Tach, endocarditis, AFib, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome

Required Experience and Credentials

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• High-volume, high-acuity Cath Lab experience required
• Minimum one year of EP (electrophysiology) experience required
• Interventional scrub experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Epic charting system experience required

Core Skills

• Angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• PCI, IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion
• Left and right heart catheterization, rotablator atherectomy
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Upper and lower extremity angiography

Navy scrubs are required. Block scheduling is not available. This 91-day contract begins September 14, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,871.
