<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM<br>• Schedule: 3 shifts per week (3x12)<br>• Every other weekend coverage required<br>• Patient ratio: 1:6 for night shifts<br>• Float to other units based on need and skill set as required<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS<br>• Must have active Tennessee RN license<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required<br>• Must have at least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience<br>• Previous charge experience required<br>• Travel experience required - no first time travelers<br>• Patient diagnoses include stroke/TIA, seizure, syncope, pneumonia, chest pain, dialysis, acute kidney failure, post heart catheterization, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, CHF, and sepsis<br>• Unit specializes in stroke and TIA patients along with higher acuity medical-surgical patients<br>• Perform peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation<br>• Use Omnicell medication system<br>• 24-hour orientation provided<br>• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a specialized medical-surgical telemetry unit that serves as the primary inpatient unit for stroke and TIA patients. The facility maintains a strong focus on patient experience and handles higher acuity medical-surgical cases.
