Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• May occasionally be needed for a late shift
• Work primarily in the prep and recovery space of a busy GI lab
• Average daily census of 60 patients per day across 6 rooms
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for GI patients
• Provide patient education using GI knowledge
• Float within service line as needed
• Required skills: starting and maintaining IVs, recovering monitored anesthesia care sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Preferred skills: outpatient endoscopy center experience, pre/post procedure experience
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
