Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts
• Required to take call at least two days each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule
• Overtime days available each week
• Minimum of 5 weekend shifts per contract
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must have certificate from NBSTSA and hold CST certification
• AHA BLS required
• 1+ year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• Average of 3 heart surgeries per day
• Must be competent in cardiovascular OR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and TAVR
• Special equipment skills required including mesh measuring and additional timeout protocols
• Must float to other qualified units as needed based on census
• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of contract signing
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
