Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Possible weekend call coverage Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• No mandatory weekend or holiday requirements, but may be asked to pick up call
• No on-call or standby requirement during the week
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies including Cardiac, HIDA, Bone, Gastric, and VQ scans
• Average of 3 to 8 scans/studies per day
• Work independently in a department with 1 scanner
• May float or cover other areas as needed
• Start IVs as required
• Utilize Cerner for charting and EMR
• Operate Siemens and D-Spect equipment for Cardiac imaging
• Work within an acute care setting with an in-house radiologist available
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), CNMT
• Scrubs required but not provided
