MRI Technologist Job in Carbondale, IL

Memorial Hospital of Carbondale is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging department on a travel assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience while working with a dedicated team in a community hospital setting.

Role Overview

You will perform MRI scanning procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations. Your responsibilities will include positioning patients, explaining procedures, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will work collaboratively with radiologists and other clinical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Schedule & Duration

• Shift: Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM (5 days per 8-hour week structure)
• On-call rotation averaging 1 week every 6 weeks
• 91-day assignment
• Start date: September 21, 2026

Compensation

Weekly pay: $3,381

Required Credentials & Certifications

• Allied Health Professional credential or MRI Technologist certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Illinois state license
