PCU RN Job in LaGrange, GA

Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning March 3, 2026, with weekly pay of $1,864.80.

Position Overview

You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, caring for PCU patients who require intermediate-level monitoring and intervention. You may float to Med/Surg units as needed. You will work various days of the week, including every third weekend. Holiday requirements include a minimum of 2 major and 2 minor holidays.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care for diverse patient populations
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and bedside shift reporting
• Complete timely documentation and maintain clinical competencies
• Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
• Serve as preceptor or mentor for nursing staff and students as needed

Requirements

• Current Georgia RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Experience caring for PCU patients required
