Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed<br>• Floating to other units required<br>• Navy blue scrub color required<br>• 2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience required<br>• Travel experience is required<br>• Current AHA BLS certification required<br>• Active NY nursing license and all active RN licenses verification through NURSYS required<br>• EPIC EMR experience required<br>• Skills checklist matching specialty required<br>• Provide post-surgical care for patients with various diagnoses including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery)<br>• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes<br>• Care for adult patient population<br>• Local candidates accepted (less than 75 miles from facility)</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical-surgical unit providing post-operative care and treatment for a diverse range of adult patients.
