MRI Technologist Job in Midland, MI

MyMichigan Health in Midland is seeking an MRI Technologist for a temporary assignment. You will work evening shifts performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients using advanced technical equipment.

Position Details:

• Shift: 5x8 evenings, with one weekend shift per month (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,663
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans on patients utilizing proper protocols, coils, restraints, and technical equipment
• Administer contrast materials, including IV and oral contrast as required
• Interview and screen patients for contraindications prior to MRI study
• Explain procedures to patients and assist with proper positioning for examination
• Prepare scan room and patient for each procedure
• Draw up IV contrast and perform warm-up procedures on equipment
• Enter patient data with appropriate scan parameters and review previous exams as needed
• Ensure proper marking with regard to patient orientation and enter images in correct order
• Prepare records for radiologist and ensure all clinical information is complete
• Transport patients into exam room as needed

Requirements:

• Active MRI Certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• MRI experience required
• Siemens experience required
• Skills checklist current to within one year pertinent to MRI specialty
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
