Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every 6th weekend of call required
• One weeknight shift required each week
• Must be willing to work holidays
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off
• Interview required - please list interview availability when submitting
• Minimum 2+ years of recent cardio cath lab experience required
• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiological Technology required
• CVI, RCIS, or RCES certification preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Must be licensed by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) in accordance with Ohio Revised Code
• Must hold R.T. (R) ARRT registration/certification
• Operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment during cardiac and/or peripheral vascular procedures under physician supervision
• Provide scrub assistance to Cardiologist throughout diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Operate lab equipment including catheters and guide wires
• Assist physician in performing invasive procedures
• Apply knowledge of pressure monitoring, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, EKG interpretation, aseptic technique, and radiation safety practices
• Enter procedural events and information into hemodynamic computer
• Ability to lift and position patients, exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently
• Work independently within established procedures while exercising professional judgment
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment
