<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week guaranteed<br>• 13-week assignment with ASAP start date<br>• Must have minimum 1 year of travel experience - first-time travelers not accepted<br>• Pediatric CICU/CVPICU experience required and must be clearly documented in work history<br>• Patient ratios of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends<br>• May float to Cardiac med surg floor as needed and between sister facilities in Kansas City, MO and Overland Park, KS (approximately 12 miles apart)<br>• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, CCRN (only AHA certifications accepted, RQI not accepted)<br>• Must have both Missouri and Kansas state nursing licenses or compact license<br>• Medication/dosage test given first week requiring 100% pass rate with 3 attempts allowed<br>• Work with pediatric patients with congenital heart defects, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and myo/endocarditis<br>• Operate advanced equipment including CRRT, ECMO, VADs, and advanced monitoring lines<br>• Scrub requirements: Any kid-friendly color or pattern<br>• Charting system: Epic<br>• Weekend coverage required with self-scheduling</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This renowned children&#39;s hospital has been named one of the best children&#39;s hospitals in America and operates as a Magnet-designated teaching facility with Level I trauma center status and Level IV NICU capabilities.
