Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - CRT

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• CRT certification accepted
• BLS and RRT certifications required
• Level III NICU experience preferred
• Pediatric/nursery experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Basic critical care experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Self-scheduling with patient ratios of 7:1 during days and nights
• No float or call requirements
• Weekend coverage required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults
• Skills include adult critical care, emergency department procedures, intubation assist, airway management, suctioning, tracheostomy care, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilator weaning
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start date
• Modules completed during orientation and recorded via Oracle system
