Opportunity:

Sonographer - Vascular Sonographer

Job Details:

• Perform an average of 15 scans per day
• Work with general, OB/GYN, and vascular patient populations
• Perform abdomen, small parts, and obstetric imaging including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester non-high-risk OB for dating, measurements, BPPs, and fetal anatomy scans
• Perform transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging
• Perform upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, aorta duplex, carotid arterial doppler, and hepatic and renal doppler imaging exams
• Experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures preferred but not required
• Weekend shifts scheduled as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays unless unit is closed: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
• Minimum of 24 months of experience in ultrasound/sonographer capacity required
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Experience in general/abdomen imaging required
• Experience in non-high-risk OB/GYN required
• Experience in vascular imaging required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• ARDMS (AB) certification required
• ARDMS (RVT) certification highly preferred
• ARDMS (OB/GYN) certification highly preferred
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
• Skills checklist specific to Sonographer and/or Vascular discipline required
• Valid driver's license required
