Operating Room RN Job in Wichita, Kansas

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita as an Operating Room RN on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, earning $1,971 per week. This position starts July 20, 2026.

Your Role

You will support a diverse surgical schedule that includes orthopedics, gynecology, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, spine, neurology, and trauma procedures. You'll maintain 1:1 patient ratios and work with advanced surgical technology including TAVR systems, MAKO robotics, and DaVinci robotic surgery platforms. The facility uses Meditech/CPN electronic medical records.

Requirements

• Current RN license and minimum 1 year of acute care OR experience in a hospital setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Valid state licensure

On-Call Expectations

You will have an on-call requirement of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month with a 30-minute response time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DaVinci robotic surgery
• Orthopedic, neurology, or vascular surgery background
• Prior Meditech system experience
• Strong communication skills with surgical staff and physicians
