OR RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for its Operating Room. You'll work day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM on a 5x8 schedule, with weekend and on-call requirements. This 91-day travel position begins May 4, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,323.20.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner
• Demonstrate performance consistent with unit standards of care
• Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient
• Handle emergency and crisis situations with the ability to manage prolonged standing and walking
• Perform heavy physical effort to position, push, and transfer patients or equipment

Physical Requirements

This role involves considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination are required. You will have exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays. Working hours are varied with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification required via AHA
• ACLS Certification required via AHA
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served
