Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, plus every other holiday
• Mandatory on-call required: 3 shifts per 6-week scheduling period
• Block scheduling is not available
• Must be willing to float to the ER and Adult ICU Stepdown units as needed
• Will serve as Team Lead at times; charge responsibility will be required for this role with training provided for those without prior charge experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience required; travel experience required
• Provide aerosol, bronchial hygiene, and lung inflation therapies
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and analysis
• Implement and manage CPAP and BiPAP
• Experience required in airway management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizers
• Adult critical care, ER, and community hospital experience required
• NICU, ED, and adult ICU experience preferred
• Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Preferred ventilator experience: Servo U and Servo Air
• Scrub color: Wine
• Must attend monthly department meetings if working; if not working, must read meeting minutes and send acknowledgment to managers
• Must follow and encourage department safety and quality initiatives autonomously
• Required certifications: BLS, CRTT, ACLS (90-day window from start date to obtain ACLS; may start with it pending), Virginia state license
• Preferred credentials: RRT, NRP
• Previous charge experience preferred
